  1. This is an interesting list. "Tunnel of Love" is probably Springsteen's most underrated album, and definitely worthy of a spot in the top three. Are you not a fan of "Born to Run"?

  2. I like Thunder Road and Born to Run from that record, but I'm not that familiar with his early stuff. I discovered Springsteen with Nebraska.

  3. I suggest you check out Darkness on the Edge of Town too. If you look at his work from 75->84, it's insane. Born to Run in 75, Darkness in 78, The River in 80, Nebraska in 82, and Born in the USA in 84. It's an incredible ten year run, and is certainly up there with Dylan's five album run of Bringing it All Back Home --> Nashville Skyline. Well, for me at least.

  4. Okay, will do! Even though I mostly still prefer the acoustic Springsteen rather than him with the full band. The same goes for Dylan, actually. The acoustic side of Bringing It All Back Home is, for me, Dylan at his best.
